Experience & expertise
Julian brings three decades of experience building and transforming technology systems in regulated environments. Previously AWS Principal Consultant at Contino, he led complex cloud transformation programmes for high-trust clients — defining architecture standards, implementing enterprise landing zones, and driving DevOps transformations.
His earlier career spans infrastructure leadership, telematics, enterprise software sales, and professional yacht delivery. This breadth of experience informs his approach to building systems that work in high-stakes environments where failure has real consequences.
At Inference Clinical, Julian is the architect of the Seven Flows governance framework — an infrastructure-level model for managing risk when care moves between organisations. The framework addresses the hidden hazard in distributed care: governance that stops at organisational walls.
His deep expertise in clinical safety standards (DCB 0129/0160), FHIR interoperability, and regulated sector delivery shapes Inference Clinical's mission: making every handover safe, auditable, and compliant by design.
